Job summary

CYGNET is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to work days and nights at Dean Grange (Broadoak, Newnham) and Milestones (Cinderford). We support people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, focusing on person-centred care and meaningful lives.

You will lead and support teams, allocate duties safely, and provide physical and emotional assistance while safeguarding others and ensuring a clean, safe environment. DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service.
• Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely.
• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard and maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
