Talent Finder is seeking a Senior Support Worker (Community Based) in Bognor Regis to support the Care Manager and Care Coordinator in delivering high-quality homecare services. This full-time role involves supervising junior staff, maintaining care records, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.

You will work flexibly, participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota, mentor new Support Workers, and uphold professional standards while respecting clients' confidentiality.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a Support Worker.
• Ability to work flexibly to support the Care Manager and Care Coordinator.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota.
• Willingness to attend training.
• Ability to respond to reasonable requests, including at short notice and during unsocial hours.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not provided.
• Experience mentoring or supporting new Support Workers.
• Experience carrying out care assessments, care plan reviews, risk assessments, spot inspections or medication checks.
• Understanding of the Care Coordinator role.

Aufgaben

• Carry out basic initial assessments of new customers and customer reviews as directed
• Complete and review care plans and risk assessments as directed
• Ensure the Carelinelive system is set up for customers and care plan notes are kept up to date
• Carry out spot inspections and medication checks as required
• Participate in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota
• Mentor new Support Workers, providing support, advice and encouragement
• Maintain confidentiality and report any concerns to the Care Manager and Care Coordinator
• Communicate, report and liaise with the Care Manager, Care Coordinator and office staff as required
• Understand the role of the Care Coordinator and the Carelinelive system to provide cover in the office when required
• Support the Care Manager and Care Coordinator and respond positively to reasonable requests, including those requiring a short-notice response or unsocial hours
• Uphold and promote the company by acting in a responsible and professional manner
• Wear the company uniform where appropriate and maintain a smart, clean appearance
• Follow company policies and procedures and report any concerns to the Care Manager and Care Coordinator
• Attend training courses as required
• Comply with company health and safety policies and relevant legislation
• Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions or omissions
• Co-operate with the company to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
• Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided for health, safety or welfare
