Autism Initiatives is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join the West Lothian Housing Support Services team across Bathgate and Livingston. The role supports management in autism-specific, person-centred practices and contributes to the service development plan.

Candidates must register with PVG and SSSC or equivalent; on-call duties apply. 39 hours per week with a competitive salary (£32,201–£34,263 p.a.).

Qualifications

• PVG scheme registration and SSSC (or equivalent) required.
• Knowledge of current social care legislation and best practice.
• Willingness to undertake on-call duties as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the staff team to maintain high standards of support.
• Assist in developing and implementing person-centred support plans and service development.
• Coordinate with practice support and ensure consistent practices across support networks.
