A leading company in children's residential care is looking for 2 Senior Residential Youth Workers. Candidates should have relevant experience and a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare. Responsibilities include supporting young people aged 11-18 with daily tasks and emotional needs, within a safe and professional environment. We are recruiting 2 highly ambitious and qualified Senior Residential Youth Workers to join our client's successful and experienced staff team in a children’s residential care home.
Candidates should ideally have at least 6 months experience in a similar setting and possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a qualification of similar or higher standing.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons, with diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. We seek individuals with confidence, understanding, patience, and the skills to work effectively with young people and positively influence their lives.
This position involves providing guidance, interaction, and support within a safe environment that addresses the young person's intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
Responsibilities include supporting children and young people with daily tasks such as meal preparation, social activities, family contacts, education, and shopping.
We are looking for positive role models who are flexible, reliable, and interactive, and who want to work in a specialist environment.
Please note that successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check and a paid five-day training program.

The position is based on a 38-hour week and may include sleep-in duties and occasional weekend shifts.
