Job summary

Remedicare is recruiting a Senior Support Worker for a Residential Care Home in Bideford, North Devon. The role offers a pay rate of £15.03+ per hour and can be full‑time or part‑time, with a mix of long and short shifts and one weekend in three.

Shifts rotate across three weeks, with weekend coverage as described. The home provides free on-site parking and a supportive, person-centred environment for up to 14 residents with learning disabilities.

Qualifications

• Senior Support Worker with previous experience within care or supported living as a Senior / Team Leader.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (Preferred but not essential).
• Medication training or certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication to residents.
• Work collaboratively and lead a team of Support Workers.
• Help run the shift and provide hands-on support on the floor.

Our client in Bideford is an established Residential Care Home which provides person-centred support for up to 14 residents with learning disabilities in a comfortable and supportive environment. They are rated Good in their most recent CQC report and a part of a welcoming, independently owned care company.

The Care Home offers free on-site parking set close to picturesque North Devon countryside. They now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join their passionate team of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers.

Senior Support Worker pay rates starting at: £15.03+ per hour!

These are full or part time, permanent roles working a mix of long and short shifts and working 1 weekend in 3.

Week 1: Mon-Thurs, Week 2: Mon-Fri, Week 3: Sat & Sun plus 1 weekday

Requirements of the Senior Support Worker role:

• Senior Support Worker with previous experience working within care or supported living as a Senior / Team Leader
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (Preferred but not essential)
• Medication training
