Voyage Care in Marsden Green is seeking a Senior Support Worker who will lead a friendly supported living team and help people gain greater independence in daily life. You will support the Manager with day-to-day supervision, allocate shifts, train new colleagues, and ensure high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience as a Senior Support Worker.
• Experience with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism and trauma.
• Commitment to improving quality of life and independence for the people supported.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day supervision and management of the service.
• Allocate shifts, book training and induct new colleagues.
• Support with supervision and medication ordering.
• Ensure people supported manage their finances and independence.

Job description

Senior Support Worker – Marsden Green £13.72 per hour

Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our supported living service in Marsden Green. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We’re interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism and people who have experienced trauma.
