We are recruiting 2 highly ambitious and qualified Senior Residential Youth Workers to join our client's successful and experienced staff team in a children’s residential care home.
Candidates should ideally have at least 6 months experience in a similar setting and hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a qualification of similar or higher standing.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have diverse needs, including disorders and behavioral challenges. We require individuals with confidence, understanding, patience, and the skills to make a positive impact on their lives.
This position involves providing guidance, interaction, and support to children and young adults in residential care, aiming to create a safe environment that meets their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
Responsibilities include supporting children and young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, social activities, family contacts, education, and shopping.

Please note that successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check and a paid five-day training programme.
