Job description

The post holder will ensure that Production services are delivered in a safe, effective, economic, and timely manner, ensuring that all procedures are carried out in accordance with current legislation and guidelines. They will undertake preparations in all areas of the Production unit.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in all aspects of the day-to-day delivery of the production service, ensuring compliance with all current regulatory requirements.
2. Undertake aseptic preparation of cytotoxics according to the guide to Good Manufacturing Practice, Health and Safety at Work, and other relevant pharmaceutical guidelines.
3. Manage and organise own work to ensure efficient workflow through the department.
4. Follow the daily work rota within the production unit to ensure timely processing of works to meet user requirements and minimize patient wait times.
5. Prepare documentation such as worksheets and labels for aseptic products using available computer systems, ensuring correct batch numbers, expiry dates, and manufacturer details.
6. Complete all relevant In and Preprocess training logs promptly.
7. Verify completed aseptic dispensing documentation in accordance with standard operational procedures.
8. Assemble trays of raw materials and consumables for the aseptic process according to worksheets and SOPs.
