Job summary

Grace Eyre Foundation in Hove is launching a new service to support people with Acquired Brain Injuries and Physical Disabilities. We are seeking enthusiastic, skilled workers with experience or transferable skills who can help people live full and independent lives.

You will assist with personal care, meal prep, medication support, moving and handling, and help people connect with their communities. You will also support managers with health and safety checks, fire checks, finance checks, and

Qualifications

• Experience in care or transferable skills welcomed.
• Willingness to complete necessary safeguarding and DBS checks.
• Commitment to helping people live independently and with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Support people to be as independent as possible in daily living.
• Assist with personal care, meals, medications, finances and moving safely.
• Connect people to their communities, friends and family.
• Support managers with health and safety checks, fire checks, finance checks and care planning.

Introduction to the role:

Grace Eyre is starting a new service in Hove supporting people with Acquired Brain Injuries and Physical Disabilities. We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled workers with experience or transferable skills to work at the service and support people to live full and independent lives.

Brief outline of the role:

The role will consist of supporting people to be as independent as possible in different areas of their lives. You will be supporting people with different care needs, such as, personal care, meal prep, medication support, financial support, moving and handling, whilst also connecting people to their communities and their friends and families. There are additional tasks connected to this role to support the managers, such as, health and safety checks, fire checks, finance checks, medication checks and updating and creating plans for the people we support.
