Job summary

Prosperity Care & Wellbeing in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a gentleman living with Huntington's disease. You will assist with personal care, mobility, daily living activities, and community access, helping him maintain independence and wellbeing.

As his condition progresses, needs may become complex, so experience with complex clinical care is essential. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with Huntington's disease and PEG feeding.
• Experience providing 1:1 support to adults with complex needs.
• Ability to lead shifts and guide team members.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and wellbeing, reporting concerns as appropriate.
• Administer medication and maintain accurate records.

• Support with audits, compliance, and maintaining high standards of care.

Experience supporting individuals with Huntington's disease andPEG feeding is essential. Ongoing training and development will be provided to further enhance your skills and support your professional growth.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable.
