Health Recruit Network is recruiting a Senior Residential Support Worker for a 3-bed children's home in Bradford. You will lead shifts and support the team to provide high-quality, child-centred care for ages 10–18 with EBD, in a Good Ofsted environment.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, consistency and positive outcomes, with a focus on building relationships, education support and a stable home atmosphere. A Level 3 Diploma and UK driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Experience working within a children’s residential care setting, ideally supporting young people with EBD.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A patient, calm and consistent approach to challenging situations.
• A genuine commitment to safeguarding and improving outcomes for young people.
• A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Pay: £15.65–£16.40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Sleep-ins: £50 per sleep-in

Rota: 2 days on, 4 days off

Service: 3-bed mixed EBD children's home, ages 10–18

About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced Residential Support Worker looking to take the next step in your career? We are recruiting for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a well-established, settled children’s home in the Bradford area. The service supports young people aged 10–18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and currently holds a Good Ofsted rating. The home has a positive and stable environment, with a strong focus on providing consistent, child-centred care. Since January 2024. This home focuses on maintaining a calm and supportive environment for the young people in its care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people develop, build positive relationships and achieve their potential.

The Role

• £50 per sleep-in
• A 2-on, 4-off shift pattern
• Contracted hours averaging approximately 150 hours per month. - opportunities to pick up more shifts.
• Rotas updated monthly and released two months in advance.
