Job summary

National Care Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker for Apple House in Bournemouth. You will support adults with learning disabilities, lead a care team and ensure person-centred service delivery in daily shifts.

The role requires a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or working towards) and the ability to motivate others. A full UK driving licence is preferred to support community activities and transport.

Qualifications

• Supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.
• Able to motivate and manage a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the senior management to assess people's support needs and work with people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service.
• Lead by example, protect people's rights, help colleagues understand each person well and ensure daily support reflects the life each person wants to live.
