Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Senior Support Worker for our supported living service in Bromley. You will lead hands-on support and contribute to leadership and administrative duties, ensuring high-quality person-centred care for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and mental health challenges.

You will work with families and professionals to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and tailored support plans, promoting independence and choices in daily living.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Willing to work towards Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
• Supporting activities of daily living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
• Communicating effectively using people’s chosen methods.
• Engaging to promote and motivate people to enhance their quality of life.
• Specialising in supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches.
• Recording accurate records and reporting changes in health or circumstances to management.
• Team player, able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
