Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Engineer at the Donnington site near Telford, UK. The role leads a specialist team, resolves obsolescence challenges and ensures critical components stay available for military vehicles.

Day-to-day, you’ll review drawings and specifications, guide stakeholders and suppliers, and drive improvements using data. On-site, full-time (37 hours/week), security clearance is required.

The role

As aSenior Supply Chain Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll play a key role in supporting the availability and sustainability of military vehicles used across the defence sector. Working at the heart of engineering and supply chain operations, you'll lead a specialist team responsible for resolving obsolescence challenges, maintaining engineering compliance, and ensuring critical components remain available when they're needed most.

Day-to-day, you'll be required to:

Qualifications for the Senior Supply Chain Engineer

• Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline, such as an Intermediate Apprenticeship, Level 3 National Vocational Qualification, or equivalent workplace experience in an engineering environment.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
