Job summary

Ricardo in Shoreham-by-Sea invites an experienced Senior Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to oversee quality of purchase parts from concept to series production across the Manufacturing division, including work with premium brand projects. You will travel in the UK and overseas, collaborating with procurement, design and systems engineers to ensure cost effectiveness and conformance to IATF 16949.

The role requires auditing suppliers, leading PPAP/APQP activities, handling 8D problem

Qualifications

• Experience in NPI or Supplier Quality Assurance or similar role.
• Prefer automotive background; other industries considered.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit suppliers and manage PPAP/APQP activities.
• Develop and implement supplier quality improvements.
• Support production and NPI with quality planning.
