Crane Building Services and Utilities (BS & U) is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance, supplier development and process improvement. The role requires extensive travel and a full UK driving licence.

You will work across Quality, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Sales to optimise performance and maintain ISO 9001:2015. Responsibilities include APQP execution, product validation, non-conformity management, supplier audits, and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• HNC Metallurgy/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) expertise
• IATF 16949 Core Tools knowledge
• Six Sigma Black Belt level capability
• Experience with 8D, 5 Whys and CAPA root-cause analysis
• Statistical techniques and process capability studies
• Reading engineering drawings and using metrology tools

Responsabilités

• Support NPI and productivity initiatives as Quality Representative.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and audit plans.
• Lead supplier audits and supplier development within KPI framework.
• Apply IATF Core Tools across supplier base and drive CAPA.
• Manage non-conformities and NCR/SDR processes with cost recovery.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Sales.
