Job summary

Ringway in Ashford is recruiting a hands-on Area Operations Manager to lead reactive and routine highway maintenance, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency across the contract.

You will oversee Supervisors and Operatives, drive performance, support development, and ensure works meet contractual and client expectations. A strong focus on leadership, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement is essential to success.

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-level teams.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of reactive and routine highway maintenance works, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all operations. You will oversee a team of Supervisors and Operatives, driving performance, supporting development, and ensuring works are completed in line with contractual and client expectations
