Job summary

STA Legal Limited is seeking a Supervising Solicitor to lead a growing litigation team. You will manage a complex caseload, mentor junior staff, and shape the practice alongside Heads of Department in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Solicitor qualified in England and Wales with 2+ years PQE and civil litigation experience.
• Experience mentoring trainees, paralegals and junior fee-earners; track record of development.
• Strong understanding of case planning, directions, disclosure and costs; procedural rigour.

Responsibilities

• Delegate and supervise work across shared matters, keeping deadlines and milestones on track
• Mentor, train and give feedback to trainees, paralegals, apprentices and junior fee-earners
• Oversee drafting, client correspondence and procedural compliance across the team
• Work closely with finance, compliance and business development colleagues
• Contribute to firm-wide initiatives, from know-how and templates to tech innovation, ESG and training
