Job summary

Bradford Children and Families Trust is seeking Supervising Social Workers to support and influence best practice within our fostering service. You will deliver high-quality supervision to caseloads, chair meetings, and foster carers’ learning and development while building strong relationships with children, families, and partner agencies.

Qualifications

• DipSW or equivalent qualification and registered with Social Work England as a qualified social worker.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
• Expertise in delivering quality outcomes for children and young people.
• Ability to build strong relationships with children, families, colleagues and partner agencies.
• Ability to write high-quality reports and assessments and analyse information effectively.
• Experience of managing a caseload in a statutory setting and resolving conflicts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multi-agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality supervision to a caseload of fostering households, including training needs and development.
• Chair complex meetings and maintain relationships with fostering families and children.
• Contribute to foster carers’ learning and development and participate in enrichment activities.
• Support Mockingbird Liaison activities and coordinate monthly events with the hub and partner agencies.
