Role: Senior Supervising Social Worker

Basic Salary: Up to £41,948.53 per annum dependent upon experience

Office Location: Home Based supporting across Bromley - Beckenham, Bermondsey, East London - Barking & Dagenham, Redbridge, Newham, Hackney, Waltham Forest, Southwark - Nunhead, Wandsworth, and Hammersmith & Fulham

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting foster parents and families to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
• Monitoring the suitability and competence of foster parents, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
• Providing supervision and support to foster parents in line with FCA standards.
• Working collaboratively with the team and participating in relevant meetings.
• Ensuring compliance with documentation and participating in out-of-hours support and duty systems.
• Conducting initial home visits and Form F assessments as needed.

Requirements:

• A Social Work qualification
• Registration with Social Work England or equivalent
• High standard report writing skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays
• Full driving license and confidence in transporting children in stressful situations
