Job summary

TechnipFMC is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our offshore/subsea team in Newcastle, UK. You will lead structural design and analysis, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of complex subsea projects.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or equivalent with 6–8 years of experience.
• Experience mentoring and leading a team of engineers and delivering projects.
• Knowledge of offshore/subsea structural design and relevant industry codes (DNV/ASME/API).
• Experience reviewing designs, layouts, calculations and interpreting FEA results.
• Strong English communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform structural design and analysis and supervise engineers.
• Create, review and approve technical engineering documents.
• Manage project design reviews and constructability reviews.
• Provide engineering advice on subsea structural analysis and design.
• Ensure on-time delivery and quality of deliverables.
• Mentor and manage a team of engineers & designers.
• Interface with clients and provide engineering recommendations.
