Job summary

Amgen in the UK invites a Senior Manager Study Oversight to provide strategic oversight of FSP resources and performance at the country level, ensuring high-quality and compliant clinical trial delivery.

You will lead governance across study teams and CROs, mentor Study Oversight Managers, monitor timelines and budgets, and collaborate with Local Study Operations to support inspections and investigator site relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in life sciences or related field with clinical trial exposure.
• Significant experience leading clinical research programs or projects.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in biotech/pharma/CRO environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of FSP resources and performance at country level.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration, supplier performance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop Study Oversight Managers and staff.
• Partner with Local Study Operations to ensure staff and site oversight.
• Support inspection readiness, audits, regulatory inspections, and investigator site relationships.
• Drive monitoring excellence and adherence to timelines, budgets, KPIs, and quality targets.
