Job summary

Amgen in the United Kingdom seeks a Supplier Governance Manager to lead governance and performance oversight of clinical trial service providers, including FSPs and CROs.

You will partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to optimize performance, manage risks, drive improvements, and strengthen strategic relationships. You will oversee governance committees, KPIs, and ensure regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree educated.
• Clinical research experience in biopharmaceuticals.
• Knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with clinical research suppliers (CROs, FSPs).
• Strong project management and metrics tracking.
• Experience in a global, matrix organization.
• Proficiency in meetings and governance processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and oversight of FSPs and CROs.
• Partner with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize performance.
• Lead governance, oversight committees, and performance reviews.
• Monitor supplier performance via KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Identify and manage supplier risks with timely escalation.
• Collaborate to optimize service delivery for clinical trials.
• Support supplier selection, qualification, onboarding, and development.
• Drive process improvements and adoption of best practices.
• Ensure supplier oversight documented in compliance with GCP.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to enhance governance.
