Job summary

McLaren Accelerator is seeking a Structures Engineer on a fixed-term contract to apply structural analysis and FEA to high-performance projects. You will work within multidisciplinary teams across engineering, technical consulting and high-performance programmes, translating engineering excellence into practical, high-value solutions for partners in multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical/aerospace/civil/structural engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of structural mechanics, composites and fatigue.
• Extensive experience applying FEA to composite structures in high-performance environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural analysis activities for accelerator projects.
• Perform structural R&D and develop robust analysis methodologies.
• Create analysis-ready CAD geometry and FE models.
• Plan, execute and interpret FEA results with clear recommendations.
• Support bid activities and project delivery with technical input.
• Collaborate with engineering, consulting and high-performance teams.
