Job summary

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in London seeks a Senior Structurer for Credit & Surety to drive complex structured finance and portfolio transactions across sectors including corporate, project and trade finance. You will build client relationships and source new opportunities in a global markets environment.

The role combines high-level financial modelling, due diligence, and cross‑functional collaboration with legal, compliance and risk teams to ensure compliant, value‑adding transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Engineering or similar field.
• At least 7 years' experience with a bank or other financial institution in structured finance or corporate finance.
• Excellent understanding of assessing credit obligors across a wide range of industries and structures.
• Strong presentation skills with an ability to articulate clearly and concisely the aspects of complex transactions.
• Ability to evaluate and take a position on transactions and defend views.
• Experience in SRT transactions and other risk transfer mechanisms.
• Inclusive team player approach with hands on attitude.
• Solution-oriented mentality with enjoyment of a high-performance collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead transaction execution by conducting thorough due diligence including review of legal documentation, financial modelling and sector research.
• Develop and present credit memoranda addressed to senior management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, compliance and risk management teams to ensure transactions meet standards.
• Monitor and manage transactions post-closing.
• Source new opportunities through established client and broker relationships.
