Job summary

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in London seeks a Senior Structurer to drive complex structured finance and portfolio transactions across corporate, project and trade finance. You will build client and broker relationships to source new business opportunities and lead transaction execution with thorough due diligence.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, experience in risk transfer mechanisms, and a collaborative, high-performance mindset within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Engineering or similar field.
• At least 7 years' experience with a bank or other financial institution in structured finance or corporate finance.
• Excellent understanding of assessing credit obligors across a wide range of industries and structures.
• Strong presentation skills with an ability to articulate complex transactions clearly.
• Ability to evaluate and defend positions on transactions; experience in SRT transactions a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead transaction execution with due diligence, legal review, financial modelling, and sector research.
• Develop and present credit memoranda to senior management.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance and risk management to ensure transactions meet standards.
• Monitor and manage transactions post-closing.
• Source new opportunities through established client and broker relationships.
