Job summary

M&G is seeking a Structured Finance Transactor and Originator in London to lead origination and execution of structured-finance opportunities. The role combines transactional execution with origination and requires strong commercial judgement and stakeholder engagement.

The candidate should have substantial relevant experience in structured finance, with the ability to assess opportunities and manage risks while working with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and practical experience of structured finance.
• Proven track record origination and execution of structured-finance transactions.
• Strong analytical capability and commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

• Originate and support the execution of structured-finance opportunities.
• Apply structured-finance expertise and commercial judgement throughout transaction activity.
• Assess potential solutions and their implications for customers, cost and risk.
• Work through non-routine transaction issues with an understanding of the broader commercial context.
• Build effective relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Lead discussions and negotiations within the agreed framework where required.
• Use judgement, experience and specialist knowledge to manage transaction-related risks.
• Identify opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of delivery.
