Job summary

Insight Investment is seeking a Senior Investment Specialist / Portfolio Manager to join the Structured Credit team. The role focuses on analysing and recommending structured finance investments across the capital structure from Investment Grade debt to Unrated instruments.

The successful candidate will model and evaluate opportunities in bespoke transactions (CMBS, Speciality Finance, CLOs, RMBS) and present findings to support senior investment decisions, while coordinating with Compliance,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience at an asset management company or bank.
• Strong investment analysis experience, with a background in the structured credit asset class.
• Strong interest in Financial Markets.
• Experience in Excel Modelling / VBA.
• Familiar with Bloomberg / Intex.
• Flexible and comfortable with changing priorities depending on workload.
• Execution and detail oriented whilst working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Able to work well independently, and take direction as required.
• Highly quantitative with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Interest in technology and how tools such as AI can support internal processes and better outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

• Modelling and evaluating investment opportunities in bespoke transactions across a diverse opportunity set (CMBS, Speciality Finance, CLOs, RMBS, etc).
• Presenting findings to assist senior members of the team in making investment decisions.
• Assisting senior members of the team with ad hoc tasks as required.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders as required, including but not limited to: Compliance, Legal, Risk, Investment Committee.
• Support any other investment opportunities and investment management activities for the Secured Finance Group from time to time as required.
