Job summary

Brandon James is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Technician (Revit) to strengthen its Leicester/Warwick team. You will produce high‑quality structural drawings and 3D models, detailing steel, RC, timber and masonry structures for residential and commercial projects.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers and MEPs, ensuring compliance with UK standards, while mentoring junior technicians and supporting engineers throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or construction-related discipline.
• Strong experience as a Structural Technician within a UK engineering consultancy.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit including structural modelling & detailing.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM coordination processes.
• Experience detailing steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry structures.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed structural drawings and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Prepare structural detailing for steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry structures.
• Develop accurate technical drawings for residential and commercial building projects.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Support structural engineers throughout design and construction process.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant UK standards and project specifications.
• Attend design coordination meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Mentor junior technicians and review drawing quality.
