You will produce detailed structural drawings and 3D models in Revit, coordinate with engineers, architects and MEP teams, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Proven structural technician experience within UK engineering consultancies.
• Advanced Revit skills including modelling and detailing.
• Solid AutoCAD knowledge and BIM coordination experience.
• Experience detailing steel, concrete, timber and masonry.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed structural drawings and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Prepare structural detailing for steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
• Develop accurate technical drawings for residential and commercial projects.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP disciplines.

The Role

The successful Senior Structural Technician (Revit) will be responsible for producing high-quality structural drawings and detailed 3D models, working closely with engineers, architects and other construction professionals.

As a Senior Structural Technician (Revit), responsibilities will include:

• Producing detailed structural drawings and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Preparing structural detailing for steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry structures.

The Candidate

The ideal Senior Structural Technician (Revit) will have:

• An HNC, HND or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction-related discipline.
• Strong experience working as a Structural Technician within a UK engineering consultancy.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, including structural modelling and detailing.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM coordination processes.
• Experience detailing steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry structures.
• A proven background working on residential and commercial building projects.
• Knowledge of UK construction standards and structural detailing practices.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
