Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd in Derby is seeking a Senior Structural Technician to join our growing team. You will deliver high-quality structural drawings and 3D models, collaborating with engineers, architects and contractors from concept through to construction on a diverse portfolio across residential, commercial, industrial, education and mixed-use sectors.

The role offers a modern BIM-led design environment, flexible/hybrid working, and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Structural Technician within a consultancy environment.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Revit experience is highly desirable.
• Experience producing structural drawings for building structures projects.
• Good understanding of steel, concrete, timber and masonry construction.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage workload across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed structural drawings, plans and construction details
• Develop and coordinate 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit
• Work closely with Structural Engineers to deliver design solutions
• Prepare reinforced concrete, steelwork, timber and masonry detailing
• Attend design and coordination meetings where required
• Ensure drawings are delivered accurately and within project timescales
• Support junior technicians and share technical knowledge
• Liaise with architects, contractors and external consultants
