Frazer-Nash Consultancy in Bristol is seeking an Experienced Structural Integrity Engineer to lead life extension projects for ageing assets, including pressure equipment, piping and rotating machinery. You will apply your expertise in integrity assessment, risk-based approaches and fitness-for-service methods.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering or equivalent (MEng/MSc/PhD).
• Ability to travel for site visits, customer meetings and plant walkdowns.
• Deep technical knowledge in mechanical/structural engineering with cross-discipline familiarity.
• Experience with codes/standards such as ASME III, ASME VIII, API 579, BS 7608, BS 7910, R5/R6.
• Customer-facing experience for project delivery and business winning.
• Recognised by peers/industry as a trusted advisor in the discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset integrity and life extension projects for ageing critical assets.
• Deliver specialised guidance on safe and efficient operation of assets across industries.
• Apply FEA, fatigue, fracture, fitness-for-service methods to assess conditions and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for entire facilities or power stations.
• Support development and mentoring of junior team members and work across the consultancy.
