Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer to lead the design of water and wastewater assets across the UK. You will deliver structural designs from concept to construction and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a design-and-build environment.

This role offers flexible and hybrid working, opportunities to mentor junior engineers, and involvement with our global teams in Pune and Singapore.

Qualifications

Strong structural engineering design background for water projects.
Knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards.
Travel within the UK to offices or sites.
Experience with CDM and construction Health & Safety.
Experience in design and build environments.
Chartered status or nearing chartership is desirable.
Experience collaborating with global teams.

Responsibilities

Produce structural design calculations for water and wastewater projects.
Design reinforced concrete and structural steelwork per Eurocodes/BS.
Coordinate designs with other disciplines and ensure buildability.
Support construction with site visits and technical advice.
Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including Pune & Singapore teams.
