Job summary

Swindon Borough Council in Swindon is seeking a Senior Structure Engineer to lead the safety, performance and long‑term resilience of the Council's housing and corporate property portfolio.

You will undertake detailed structural surveys, diagnose defects, develop practical repair and strengthening solutions, and manage high‑value projects from design through to delivery, with a strong focus on quality, cost and programme.

Qualifications

• Prepare specifications and oversee high‑value repairs and improvements.
• Provide expert structural risk advice and contribute to strategic decisions.
