Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for our London-based client to deliver offshore structural solutions across oil & gas and renewable energy sectors. The role requires 5–10 years of post graduate experience and offers a clear path for career development within a growing offshore practice.

You will perform structural analysis and design, develop finite element models in ANSYS and STAAD Pro, conduct lifting analyses, and ensure compliance with DNV, API, ABS and Eurocodes

Qualifications

• Around 5-10 years post-graduate offshore structural experience.
• Degree in Structural, Civil or Marine Engineering.
• Experience using ANSYS and/or STAAD Pro.
• Knowledge of finite element analysis.
• Familiarity with offshore design codes like DNV, API, ABS or Eurocodes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis and design of offshore structures.
• Produce finite element models using ANSYS and STAAD Pro.
• Perform lifting analyses and assess structural integrity.
• Design and assess offshore wind and renewable energy structures.
• Prepare engineering calculations and technical reports.
• Work with naval architects, mechanical engineers and drafting teams.
• Attend client meetings and provide technical support.
