Job summary

AZTRUM in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead a varied portfolio of structural projects in a hybrid working environment. You will guide design teams, oversee site visits and client liaison, and progress towards Associate level while delivering high-quality technical solutions.

The role covers multi-storey buildings, industrial developments and highways, with emphasis on mentoring engineers, maintaining standards and advancing the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Strong structural engineering knowledge, steel and concrete structures.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring engineers.
• Chartered status or active progression towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver structural projects from design through completion.
• Oversee assessments, inspections and site visits.
• Prepare calculations, appraisals and survey reports.
• Supervise a team of engineers and ensure delivery standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and design professionals.
