Job summary

The role requires a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with substantial consultancy experience across residential, commercial or high-rise sectors. Chartered status is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Significant experience in structural design within a consultancy.
• Experience delivering projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use or high-rise.
• Strong knowledge of relevant design standards and structural engineering principles.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• The confidence to lead projects, support colleagues and engage with clients.
• Chartered status or commitment towards achieving it would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
• Work across mixed-use, high-rise, residential and commercial developments.
• Produce and review structural calculations, designs and technical reports.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, clients and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Help deliver practical, innovative and commercially aware engineering solutions.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued success of the business.
