Kiota Recruitment seeks a Senior Structural Engineer in Bristol to lead a varied portfolio of building projects from concept to delivery. You will coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary teams to develop coordinated structural solutions that align with the wider design intent.

The role requires strong UK consultancy experience and a proven track record across RC, steel, timber and masonry, with client-facing responsibilities and leadership of engineers and technicians on site.

Qualifications

• Strong structural engineering experience within a UK consultancy.
• Proven leadership of structural design and delivery of building projects.
• Experience with RC, steel, timber and masonry design.
• Client-facing experience and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design projects from concept through to completion.
• Develop practical structural solutions across RC, steel, timber and masonry.
• Manage and coordinate engineers and technicians to deliver on time and budget.
• Collaborate with architects and design teams to meet the design intent.
• Produce and review calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
• Attend client and design team meetings and communicate project progress.
• Ensure designs consider buildability, safety and sustainability.
• Support commercial delivery including fee proposals and new opportunities.
