Job summary

Kiota Recruitment is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Bristol to lead varied building projects from concept through delivery. You will coordinate with architects and design teams, oversee engineers and technicians, and maintain schedules and budgets while delivering high-quality structural solutions.

The role requires strong UK consultancy experience and proficiency in reinforced concrete, steel, timber and masonry, with a track record of leading building structures projects.

Qualifications

• UK consultancy experience required.
• Experience leading structural design and delivery of building projects.
• Strong understanding of RC/steel/timber/masonry designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design projects from concept to completion.
• Develop practical structural solutions using RC/steel/timber/masonry.
• Coordinate engineers and technicians; manage resources, on-time delivery and budget.
• Work with architects, clients and design teams to align with the design intent.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, specs and documentation.
• Attend meetings with clients, design teams and site visits; drive delivery.
• Ensure designs meet buildability, sustainability and safety standards.
• Support commercial delivery, including fee proposals and new opportunities.
