Job summary

NUKEM Ltd. is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer in Oxford to join their engineering team. The role involves hands-on analysis and design within a regulated environment, requiring experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel. Qualifications

• Responsible for preparation of design documentation throughout the design process.
• Must deliver functions above that of a Design Engineer.
• Competence in a design delivery position required.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of technical specifications and design calculations.
• Development of designs to meet technical specifications.
• Preparation of risk assessments and other technical documentation.

Skills

Design experience in Reinforced Concrete and Structural Steel

Knowledge and understanding of Structural steel connections

Ability to work to tight deadlines

Strong team player

Nuclear experience or experience in a regulated industry

Experience of supervision

Education

Recognised Engineering Certificate such as HNC / HND / Degree
