Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions in North Bristol is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead complex nuclear project analysis and reinforced concrete design. You will join a specialist team delivering high-profile structural work on challenging infrastructure.

The role focuses on advanced analysis using FEA and industry tools, with clear progression into senior or specialist positions and ongoing training. A hybrid working pattern is supported.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Strong experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, SAP2000, Robot, etc.)
• Experience working on complex or regulated projects (nuclear, defence, infrastructure, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Carry out advanced structural analysis and calculations, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Design and detailing of reinforced concrete structures
• Analyse complex loading conditions (seismic, blast, impact)
• Produce technical documentation, specifications, and design outputs
• Support project delivery
