Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a Manchester-based consultancy. You will oversee projects from concept to completion, perform structural analysis and design calculations, and review drawings across transport, industrial, sports stadiums, and residential sectors.

The role offers progression toward Principal/Associate, chartership support, and a hybrid working pattern with travel to sites. Salary £60,000-£65,000 plus £77k OTE and training.

Qualifications

Senior structural engineer with UK site experience.
Experience in structural analysis and design calculations.
Ability to review drawings and liaise with clients.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and calculations.
Develop designs and drawings in AutoCAD, Tekla, and Revit.
Prepare documents and reports for projects.
Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery.
Occasional client site visits.
