Job summary

Clarke in Ballymena seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead façade and building envelope design across the UK & Ireland. You will own structural design intent, ensure buildability, and deliver compliant solutions from concept to completion on diverse projects including high-rise residential and remediation schemes.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer status or active pathway to Chartered status.
• Minimum 5 years' post-graduate structural engineering experience in façade/building envelope.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design of façade, glazing, cladding and secondary steelwork systems.
• Produce Eurocode-based structural calculations and wind load assessments.
• Review proposals to develop practical, economical, buildable engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support Building Safety Act compliance and Gateway submissions where applicable.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to standardising façade engineering details.
