Job summary

Frankham Consultancy Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Engineering team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will work primarily on Building Safety, conducting site inspections, and producing reports on structural integrity risks.

We require a professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Structural Engineering, proficiency in Eurocodes and British Standards, and the ability to provide actionable insights on high-rise building methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Structural Engineering.
• Experience with detailed design and assessments.
• Experience in visiting sites and providing written advice.

Responsibilities

• Work on design projects primarily focused on Building Safety.
• Produce desk studies, site inspections, and reports.
• Advise owners of HRB’s on structural integrity risks.

Skills

Structural Engineering experience

Knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards

Robustness and progressive collapse understanding

Education

Chartered Engineer status or near
