Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Building Structures team in a permanent role in the United Kingdom. You will lead structural analysis and design across materials, collaborate with Architects and Contractors, and support project delivery.

The role offers chartership progression, exposure to BIM and Revit, and a chance to work on high-profile projects with a supportive team and flexible working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Membership of ICE, IStructE, or another relevant professional institution.
• Progress towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Performing structural analysis and design of buildings using various construction materials.
• Delivering engineering solutions from early-stage concepts to detailed design.
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Supporting project delivery to programme and budget requirements.
• Participating in client meetings and technical workshops.
• Conducting site inspections and attending project review meetings.
• Producing technical calculations, reports, and design documentation.
• Contributing to BIM-led design and digital engineering processes.
• Supporting junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge across the team.
