JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer for our Cardiff office. This permanent, full-time role focuses on building structures across education, healthcare and local authorities, with schemes up to £100m.

You will prepare detailed calculations, liaise with architects, contractors and clients, and participate in design team meetings. The ideal candidate has solid building-structures experience, can develop lasting client relationships, and is able to mentor

Qualifications

• Degree educated (BEng/BSc).
• Chartered with ICE or IStructE preferred but not essential.
• Experience across education, healthcare, local authorities sectors.

Job Details

Senior Structural Engineer position in Cardiff offers a permanent, full-time contract with a salary between £40,000 and £60,000, plus hybrid working, 25 days of holiday, and healthcare.

Joining an award-winning consultancy, you will handle building structures projects across education, healthcare, and local authority sectors, with individual schemes reaching £100m.

Your duties include preparing detailed structural calculations, liaising with architects, contractors, and clients, and resolving technical queries during design team meetings.

This role suits a professional with solid experience in building structures who can build lasting client relationships.

We are looking for an experienced structural engineer with building structures experience for an award-winning practice to work in their Cardiff office.

Essential Criteria
