Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a Milton Keynes-based independent multi-disciplinary consultancy. The role covers refurbishment and new-build projects across residential, commercial, industrial and public sectors.

The position involves leading design delivery, preparing calculations and drawings in steel, concrete, timber and masonry, and managing projects from feasibility to construction while liaising with clients and design teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years' UK consultancy experience in structural engineering.
• Experience delivering refurbishment and new build projects.
• Strong design experience across steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
• Project management experience with client liaison and budgeting.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Chartered MIStructE or MICE would be advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK.

• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and Eurocodes
• Working towards or already Chartered (MIStructE or MICE) would be advantageous
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
• Full Right to Work in the UK
