OLG Recruitment is currently seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer for our client located in Scunthorpe. This is a full-time contract position.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Perform structural engineering assessments for new and existing steel structures (industrial).
2. Produce design documents, including drawings, reports, and surveys.
3. Act as the technical lead on projects as required.
4. Undertake analysis and design using appropriate calculations and software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
5. Liaise with clients and team members to ensure progress against design deliverables.
6. Manage your own time effectively to complete ongoing work.

Functional Competencies

1. Responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others around you.
2. Reporting issues, incidents, near misses, and good practices through safety management systems.
3. Possession of a clean and full UK driving license.

Experience
