Job Description:

Vickerstock are delighted to be working with a national Engineering consultancy to recruit for a Senior Structural Design Engineer, as they continue of their mission to deliver a net zero built environment.

This is a permanent role based in central Sheffield.

The Senior Structural Design Engineer will provide expertise and guidance to exciting projects across the world, top-quality structural designs and work on projects from inception to hand-over.

You will be offered:

Your new role as Senior Structural Design Engineer

• Create structural designs for a range of specialisms including aviation, flood management and healthcare.
• Analyse building structures.
• Use 3D software packages to create world-class design.
• Create high-quality written reports.
• Ensure health and safety is key in your work.
• Support junior team members.

What you will need to succeed

• A Civil or Structural Engineering degree
• To be, or be working towards Chartership
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and designer responsibilities
• Experience working to British Standards.
