The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Nine years later, and the team continues to demonstrate growth and a clear direction with its future objectives – coming off the back of its second-best season to-date in Formula 1.

This position reports to the Deputy Chief Designer & Structure or their designee; is located in Maranello, Italy. Responsible for structural design and analysis of F1 chassis-related components.
University degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or equivalent Engineering, preferably a master’s degree in a relevant subject. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in an engineering environment, with at least 3 years in a professional motorsports setting.
Ability to work and prioritize in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment with a methodical approach. May involve domestic and international travel and long, flexible hours including weekends. Mainly office-based, with supervision of full-scale component testing. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, manual dexterity. The environment includes machinery, race cars, rigs, debris, and hazardous fluids. Compliance with health and safety policies is mandatory.
